Finally some progress

Adelaide have just told me we have received approval from the Australian College of Anaesthetists for me to work there. This is a major obstacle out of the way and should remove any objections the immigration service have about letting me into the country. I’ve done the healthcheck and have a copy of my police report, so getting my portion of the visa should just be a formality.

Are you sure you could get to the high commission of Australia in London for your VISA?
When I called them I was told that I have to apply at one of the business offices in Australia.
I am entering Australia with a different visa (457 Business Long Stay Primary Visa) and it may be different for me. But it’s still worth checking it with the London office.
How far are you from selling your home? At last I made a decision to rent it!
