No it’s not another delivery to Tweenis 12.
My visa nomination has come through at last. This marks the halfway point as it allow me to put in my application now. Fortunately I already had the necessary backup documentation to hand, so it should be a formality. It could take 4 -6 weeks to come though, but at least this represents progress.

That paint advert
I’m sure most of you will have seen the advert in which they splash a truckload of paint around a Glasgow housing estate.
I always thought this was done with some clever CGI, but they actually did it for real. See here for the whole story.

One word, that’s a tricky one. How about: apprehensive. There is nothing that describes looking forward to something and being excited, yet at the same time a little nervous and scared. It sort of feels like a blind date!
