And relax!

Phew, I’ve survived the first set of on-call shifts. 3 days and 3 nights have passed fairly quickly and now I have 6 wonderful days off to enjoy. The days at work were par for an ICU with a full complement of patients and enough work to keep us busy. Fortunately the nights were quiet almost to the point of becoming boring. I managed to get at least 6 hours of sleep each night and especially on the final night was barely stressed. This was a pleasant easy introduction, but I hope it isn’t always like this. While it may sound great sitting on your arse doing nothing, it’s actually quite tedious if you are tied to a building and can’t have a drink!
We’ve been busy looking at more houses. There are a lot of complete dumps that the owners must be seeing through rose-tinted glasses, as the asking prices have been extorbitant. Fortunately there are some gems amongst the mediocrity. This house (pictured below) is like the Tardis and has a lot of living space inside. The major downside is that it is under a flight path. It’s owned by Nick-the-Greek and I’m waiting to hear if he’s happy with pets.
A more inviting prospect is this house. It’s open for inspection tomorrow, but if it’s as nice inside as out, I’ll be expressing definite interest tomorrow.
It’s not much at the moment but it will give you a taster of what is on offer and worth taking here. Hopefully I’ll be able to confirm where we’re living in the not-too-distant future.

I like them both so i would go for the the house with the balcony, the first one is good but i have got a feeling you’re going to become very lazy without stair leading up to your rest pit.
Aren’t you going to wait for Regan??????
I am sure that you will make a good choice in housing. I think that landlords here also have the same type of glasses
. I did wonder whether your HR had risen in the last few BodyPump classes
. As you know things change and Wendy (LFE) is off to Northampton in a few weeks. Circuits on Fridays has acquired a class clown, so we get free comedy turns aswell. Your first shifts sound like a steady start but I hope that you start to get busier (in the nicest way) to stop the boredom. How are the new wheels?
Hi Ric blimey im very impressed with the house with the balcony i think there both nice whichever you decide. So you survived the shift thats good going i hope it all works out for
