Welcome home

You’ll all be happy to know that Regan has arrived safe and sound. She actually flew in yesterday, but as you can well imagine things have been hectic round here, hence not being able to deliver the news till today. Her parents are obviously very relieved to have their daughter back, and their house has become a little crowded with 4 adults living in it.
We’ve made progress towards making Brown Street habitable. Today we bought a TV, washing machine, kettle, toaster and all the other electrical items necessary in today’s world. We initially planned to rent the TV and washing machine, but the year’s rental was almost as much as the outright cost! So we now own them instead! Then it was a whirlwind visit to IKEA to buy furniture and kitchenware so we can move in soon. At the moment the house will definitely have a minimalist look, but with time we can add more touches to make it our own. I’ll post some more pictures of the place once it looks like a proper home!
On Weds the house is having a thorough spring clean to bridge the gap between our definition of clean and the landlord’s. All in all good progress but I dream of a magic wand you could wave and have it all done at once!

Hi ric glad to hear reagan has arrived safely and you have been busy spending money on all those most needed items. Thanks for the numbers by the way.
One question Rick, have the curtains been pulled down and ripped to shreds yet by Regan.

Im made up for you matey, now that Regan is with you she can plump and fatten you back up, rumour has it you’ve shed quite a bit of weight without Regan aaahhhh, the lads have been checking on ebay for the curtains and other stuff you’re getting rid of, sad or what.
Anyway take care the both of you and chat to you soon.
STAND STRONG SLICK BROTHER RICK
Wow! IKEA has even made it to the southern hemisphere! Glad to hear it’s going well in Oz. You’re well out of it up here – the ST3 applications went badly for me (and many others) – i didn’t get shortlisted anywhere. Ravin’s trying to convince me australia is the way forward, but for now, Belgium beckons.
Take care, good luck and thank your lucky stars you’re not in MTAS!

Hey guys,
Welcome home to Regan. Your place looks fab – light and airy. At least dirt is something you can easily rectify, not that it shows up in your piccies anyway. It’s a shame you can’t delete those hideous curtains, although a take-down-and-store option might be the way forward. I expect you’re itching to get moved in, good luck with that. When does your stuff arrive from Blighty?
Weather here crap BTW – cold and windy so no change from the norm then.
