Back to the trots

We took a slightly more sensible approach and went in suitable clothing for the weather. This was also an opportunity for Regan to catch up with a few of her Uni friends she hadn’t seen for a while. We had a flutter on the main event of the day and our horse won as you can see in this photo (it’s the one on the far right):
We only won a small amount but it’s always nice to make a profit when taking on the bookies. I hope Joy and my parents will appreciate these posts, being horsey people. You can see the rest of the photos here.
Just to keep you updated - the cats are paroled by the quarantine service on the 21st, and I’ll put up some pictures of their pissed-off expressions once they arrive. The rest of our stuff is still sitting on a dockside in the UK!!! The bloody useless shipping company say they haven’t filled the container yet, so won’t put it on a boat. When they finally pull their fingers out it will be another 6 weeks before it all arrives. At this rate it will arrive just in time to ship it on again.
Thanks to those who spoke those of you who spoke to LFE on my behalf.

Hi Ric Told vince what you said he reckons that until you,ve found a fitness first gym out there he couldnt cancel your dd until then which you have already regardless.Regans got the rite idea with a nice cool beer looks very nice were you were your so lucky to have such good weather out there
Hi Both, The sight of the phrase ‘TROTS’ brings images flooding into my mind that I would rather not have :-) It seems to me that Australia is just one long holiday or should that be a better way to live :-)
Rick the Cats will forgive you once you show them the ghastly curtains
Shame about the all your stuff still sitting on a dockside here, it’s nearly always the same with these companies… They got your money so they’ll deal with you in their time. Pretty useless really.
Catch you both later
