If you can’t get to Covent Garden …

… have Covent Garden to come to you (apologies for plagarism to Francis Bacon). Yesterday, in between finishing day shifts and starting nights, we went to the International Buskers Festival at the Adelaide Fringe. The festival is run annually as part of a month long celebration of arts and culture in the city. I remember street perfomers at Covent Garden from trips to London, so this was a good opportunity to see such acts again. There are no re-takes, no hidden wires, no CGI and no safety nets - these guys do frankly dangerous stunts for real. I’d even seen one of the acts - The Great Dave - in London about 12 years ago. It was great to see him again, with a revamped act and a few more wrinkles!
I’d challenge anyone who thinks these tricks are easy to balance objects on their head while riding a 6ft tall unicycle! The rest of the pictures are here.

Hi Ric bloody hell going the rite way for a broken neck but hay if you found it entertaining doesnt matter.amazzzzzing!
