Baby got back

Sir Mix-a-lot (1992) in case you were wondering.
That’s right, our little baby (the Swift) is back from the repairers and good as new. I’ve only had a cursory look but it seems like they have done a good job and the paint matching seems to be spot-on. I would hope they have used genuine parts and the paint is straight from the Suzuki parts department. I have a palpable sense of relief that the car is back to its former glory and life can now go on!
It will also be nice to be back in a car with some refinement. The garage lent us a Mk1 Mitsubishi Magna as a courtesy car.
I’m sure in its time this was a premium vehicle, but the years have not been kind. It had a number of faults that would have had it fail an MOT such as a non-functional rev counter or temp gauge, knackered suspension, poorly aligned headlights and so much rust it must have been held together by the paintwork. There are way more bombs on the roads here, probably because there is no annual road-worthiness test. As such there are far too many rust-buckets running about that should have been condemned years ago.

Hi Ric good to hear you have your baby back not very keen on the courtsey car though
