A team is for life, not just for Xmas

At least the Swans had better hope so. Last night Regan and I went to AAMI Stadium to see the Sydney – Adelaide game. Since I’d chosen to support them I thought it was only right that we did things properly and went to see them live.
There was a lot riding on this game – pride and a point in the tipping competition. We went all kitted up with scarves and team shirts, cheered along and had the traditional half-time meat pie.
See the rest of the photos here. I’m sorry if some of them are a little blurry, but they were taken on full zoom and no flash.
Due to some appaling kicking by Sydney the game was effectively gifted to Adelaide and we lost 44 to 61
. Just to add insult to injury I’ve only picked 1 winner out of the 8 games played in this round. Thank God there are many more rounds to recoup the poor outcome this week.

Hi to you both glad you enjoyed the game that is different that you eat meat pie half time
Hello Rick,
I hope you enjoyed your game, but would like to divert your attention to the South Australian meat pie.
First of all, I congratulate you on your bravery, and express my relief if you are lucky enough to read this.
I worked for Balfours for a short time, one of the major forces in South Australian pie production. I would like to emphasise the term “short time” in my last sentence.
I would suggest the magnificent Perrymans Bakery in North Adelaide. The pies are quite small, but beautifully tasty. The Forrests can attest to this.
Ciao, Anthony & Marie
