Congratulations are in order

I hope you will all join me in wishing the best to Leigh and Loz who are the proud parents to Baby Elliot Jay de Buisseret. He was born a little after midday last Fri (1st June) and is doing well. I have great admiration for all parents, as it is an enormous responsibility. Given I have enough difficulty looking after myself, God knows how I would manage with a child, so kudos to you all!

P.S:
This is the 100th posting I’ve made on this blog. I didn’t think it would have “seen so much nor lived so long” (with apologies to Shakespeare). Many thanks to all who read it and contribute comments. It makes me feel a little less isolated over here to still be in touch with friends and family in the UK.

The more observant may have noticed some modifications to the appearance of this blog. I’ve updated the software which will hopefully make it run a little faster. If you notice anything that doesn’t work or looks odd, please let me know.
