Another quick aside.
My employment contract from the Royal Adelaide Hospital came through today. I have been listed as “Medical Practitioner Level 8″. I’m not sure how many levels there are, but 8 seems high enough. Last year I was a “Level 6″ and this increase in rank has also brought an increase in pay, which is always good!
So, visa pending, it seems my stay here is confirmed. This is very welcome as there is nothing worse than the insecurity of not knowing where you will be living, let alone working!
