Day One Mark 2

Today was my first day in a new job. Having settled into a comfortable rut at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital I was a little apprehensive about moving to a busier unit at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
We had the usual dreary induction lectures in the morning before visiting the unit for the most important component of the day. Everyone was welcoming and seemed keen to help us out, but inevitably the feeling of disorientation and information overload increased as the day went on. Fortunately I have a couple of days to relax and gather my thoughts before jumping in at the deep end on Saturday.
