Blood is thicker than water

After 15 months of separation my parents and sister have finally arrived in Australia. Fortunately they had a stress-free flight and, albeit a little jetlagged, seem none the worse for their trip. It is nice to be reunited with my family after being distanced so far from them. As you can see they are still a little jaded, but we are looking after them and I’m sure they will soon be back up to speed.
We’ve been taking things easy to start with but will be trying to pack a number of things into the forthcoming three weeks. I’m still at work at the moment and Regan also has job commitments so their intoriduction to Adelaide has been mostly restricted to wandering round the city centre. On Wednesday we are going scuba-diving off the coast, and later this week we will be going to a nature reserve so they can get their hands on some koalas and kangaroos. Then it just leaves trips to the wineries to organise.
I’m sure the time will go quickly but we will be showing off my adopted home and all it has to offer. One important aspect of life here is to experience the Italian and German food industry that has remained true to the values of the original immigrants and hasn’t been corrupted or modernised like some outlets in their homelands in Europe have been.

The scuba diving should be fun let us know how it goes
