Jacques Costeau, eat you heart out
Posted on Sunday 22nd June 2008
On the boat on the way out to the Dredge, an old channel dredger deliberately sunk to provide fishing and diving opportunities.
Underwater with the fish. The green hue is due to the filtering out of red light as you go deeper. There are tricks to restore colour with the computer, but I’m not up to that yet.
Some of the people on the same dive.
A picture with flash, note the better colour resolution versus the non-flash picture.
The visibility was only about 5 metres and there was a lot of particulate matter in the water as the winds have been quite strong recently. When we go again I’ll try to get some better snaps and touch them up before posting.

‘Eat your heart out’ i should say so…cannot imagine it would be this amazing in the Firth of Fourth assuming the cold didn’t kill me first!!!
Hope you’re both well…is your email working?
