Back in the saddle

Having been on holiday since the 24th August, it was with some reluctance that I went back to work today. It hardly takes any time at all to get into the holiday mindset and leave all employment concerns behind. As a result the intervening weeks have passed far too quickly.
It came as a bit of a shock having to get back into the stride of clinical duties after being off. We’ll have to see how the rest of the week goes but hopefully it won’t take too long to get back up to speed again. Since we won’t be able to afford another trip back to the UK for some time, it will be a fair while till I get a chance to do this again.
Fortunately getting annual leave isn’t difficult as we accrue (almost) 3 days a month automatically. In fact I was accumulating leave even while on leave! New Zealand is next on the agenda, but will have to wait till next year.

Just wanted to say how lovely it was to see you and Regan on your trip back to the UK. I will try and be a bit better about keeping in touch but its always nice getting your little website posts!
