Show me the green card

Just a brief note to say the Australian Immigration Service has decided I am worthy of being here. In an extremely quick turn-around time they have emailed to say my visa application has been provisionally approved. It hasn’t been rubber-stamped just yet as they aren’t allowed to grant visas until 4 weeks before they are due to come into effect.
This means I have effectively been given the nod, but won’t receive an official notice until early January. So another load of my mind.
I am also in discussion with some of my bosses about work prospects from 2010 onwards. It doesn’t seem like there will be any obstacles to getting further employment but it will be nice to know that I don’t have to worry!
