If you need a laugh

With the life full of dire warnings about global warming, terrorist threats, imminent global economic freefall and other more personal distress, we all need some cheering up. I know this post is rather late on the bandwagon but it takes a while for such things to evolve on the internet.
I’m talking about the amusing event at a press conference held in the honour of George Dubya in Iraq on the 14th December:
It didn’t take long for developers to seize on this wonderful spontaneous free action and create online games so we could all share in the fun. There are a number available, Google will point the way as usual, but I’ve picked out my favourites.
Sock and Awe:
Just click when Bush’s head pops up and score points for a hit. You can aim at Al-Maliki too but you don’t get any points for hitting him.
Bush Shoe WorldWide:
This one has many more options allowing choice of footwear and what is yelled when a shoe is thrown. Again click to throw and aim carefully!
To play these, you will need Adobe Flash Player, which can be downloaded here if not already installed on your computer.
I hope you all enjoy these as much as I did. Yes, they are cheap and tacky, but provided a much needed diversion to my hectic life. Hopefully they will have a similar effect on yours.
