I took a walk outside and looked up at the brilliance of the stars in the perfectly clear night. The sheer beauty and scale of it all put things into perspective. Ever since then whenever the stupidity of humanity raises its head I always go and look at the stars. The beauty of simple physics never fails to inspire me.
