Limp Kibble

Perhaps a little more esoteric than my usual references. The explanation can be provided if necessary, but should become clear by the end of the post.
While we don’t have children, the cats are obviously our surrogates, and very special. Not least because they were all rescue moggies from the RSPCA and we have become rather attached to them. Normally they are all in good health and pretty robust, so we were somewhat upset to see poor Tilly walking very awkwardly a couple of days ago.
She has always been the poor relation amongst our cats, and has cost us more in vets fees than the other two combined. Figuring it was just a sprain or strain we played a watching game initially. However after seeing her unable to weight-bear on her left forefoot yesterday was too much, so a trip to the vet was organised.
Fortunately she has been given a clean bill of health and has no signs of injury. We are still at a loss to explain exactly why she is limping but we are relieved it isn’t anything serious. The vet gave her an anti-inflammatory injection and it seems to be doing the trick as she is moving more freely. The strange thing is that she hasn’t complained of pain at any time even while the vet was prodding her gamy leg.
So we are reunited and on the mend. Cats may not be people but they are still our family, and I will move heaven and earth for them if necessary. Besides who could say no to this:

Aw…i’ll say! Glad she’s better…
Don’t fall for it!…. it’s all part of their master plan to take over the world
