Gotta get it in writing

Although we got the exam result on the final day of testing, it still didn’t feel concrete until yesterday. But now there is no doubt as my certificate has now arrived. This has come as a great relief and acts as closure from any sense of doubt.
So, all I have to do now is submit my research project and I can claim my Fellowship. This will effectively give me specialist status. Then I just have to complete training time and it’s onwards to consultancy.
In reality I probably won’t jump up a grade for a couple of years yet as there aren’t any posts likely to become available any time soon. But there’s no hurry and working as a registrar still serves to provide experience so staying put is not a negative.
But, when the opportunity presents itself … onwards.
