A family reunited … again
Posted on Wednesday 31st March 2010
The protracted interval since my last contribution on here has a good excuse … for once. My parents and sister have recently arrived in Adelaide for their biannual trip. Last time we managed to pack quite a lot of activities and events into a fairly small period. It set the bar high and we have come up with some different elements of the city and surrounds to share with them.
Obviously this comes with a compromise, and I know what it’s like to be away and feel that drive to occupy every waking moment. So, we have also factored in some “slob” time for them. This time the weather has been somewhat more benevolent and they are enjoying the pleasant South Australian autumn.
We’ve already started “doing things” and a drive up to Mount Lofty Summit to take in the views of Adelaide has already been ticked off. Tomorrow we’re going to hit some wineries and see the Northern Lights. More about that in due course.
In the meantime, a quick snap of city. On high zoom and using my new tripod for a stable, non-blurry shot. The light wasn’t great and a low haze has diminished quality somewhat. In time I’ll obtain and learn how to use PhotoShop to make the most from pictures.
The remainder of the photos are here.
