My trust in bureaucrats and efforts to jump through imposed hoops has paid off.
I have received official confirmation from the College of the award of Fellowship. It’s only taken 3 and a bit years of hard work, but this represents the end of my training. This qualification is the first stepping stone towards a consultant job and entitles me to apply for recognition on the specialist register. And to put the letters “FCICM” after my name.
So, now all we need is for the AMC and Immigration Dept to catch up and then I can start applying for consultant jobs.
Congrats Rick. Will you be awarded the fellowship at ASM meet in sydney next month?
