Just to share with you a little bit of Australian culture, it's very important to know that Australian Labor Party is spelt "Labor" without the 'U'. We indeed spell "labour" under normal circumstances, the same as the British, with a 'U'. But for some reason nobody knows, our political party is "different".

I'm not normally this pedantic, but after reading way too many posts on a forum with technical posts from "you-know-who", it's making me see too much attention to detail everywhere, lol!

Anyway, if you want to be a real aussie it's something you need to know anyway :)

Still waiting on the visa, but I've already got the darkest sunglasses you can legally drive with!

Enjoy your Christmas in the cold, because next year it will be hot.
You won't need a coat, hat or gloves...but you will need light clothing, sunglasses and sunscreen.
A whole new experience awaits.
Looking forward to your arrival in the wide brown land.

Notice ...I didn't mention the cricket.

Cheers

:D Hello have found your Blog at last, although would prefer to speak to you on the phone!!!!!!!!

The leg splints sound horrible. Poor old you! Hope they are feeling much better now. I run nearly everyday and would be very upset if I injured myself - as I'm getting elderly now its more likely I guess. Plus I am naughty and usually don't stretch, but least I have my good trainers now.

Hope the visa is sorted soon. All the faffing around doing the paperwork and sorting the bureaucrasy must be such a pain (more than the shin splints!) but it'll be worth it in teh end.

Hope to speak soon.
Love
Sis
